Google Pixel 8a

The Pixel 8a was announced and made available for preorder on May 7, and was released on May 14 for the Google I/O event. The Pixel 8a is a more budget-friendly version of the other phones in the Pixel 8 line (the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro). Google markets the 8a as having plenty of AI features, such as Google AI and AI-powered photo/video recording and editing abilities. The 8a offers more vibrant color options than the other phones in its line, with a slightly smaller screen but the same processor.

Information about your Pixel phone such as model, serial, and IMEI numbers can be found by navigating to Settings > About phone. This information is also listed on the original box that your phone came in.

The Pixel 8a can be identified by the following model numbers:

• GKV4X (5G Sub 6GHz)
• G8HHN (5G mmWave + Sub 6GHz)

If your screen isn't working, you can find the IMEI number by looking on the base of the SIM card tray.

You can also identify the Pixel 8a by its signature camera bar that protrudes as a wide strip along the top edge of the back cover. The 8a has slightly more rounded corners than the 8 and 8 Pro, and much more rounded edges than previous Google phones. The Pixel 8a has two cameras on the back (whereas the 8 Pro has 3), and the screen is smaller than both the 8 and 8 Pro.

The Pixel 8a comes in four vibrant colors: Obsidian, Porcelain, Bay, and Aloe.
