Stockholm Archipelago Trail/Arholma

The trail begins at the 🌍 Arholma ferry stop where you also have a 🌍 grocery shop Arholma Handel and a guesthouse 🌍 Källarstugan, next you pass a 🌍 sign about the trail. At the crossing turn left 🌍 crossing and in a few hundred metres you will have a 🌍 Arholma campsite to the left where also 🌍 Ahlmansviken beach is and you have a marina for leisure boats 🌍 Ahlmansviken harbour.

Continue north 1 km and you will pass 🌍 Arholma Nord where you can stay and eat. They also have the possibility to 🌍 rent kayaks next to the beach 🌍 the Arholma Nord beach.

Before reaching Arholma Nord you can take to the left and visit 🌍 Arholma Coastal Artillery Battery on the way to the Battery you also pass a 🌍 bbq area.

The trail continues along 🌍 pleasant forest road and then transitions onto a 🌍 narrower, easy path through the woods—perfect for a leisurely walk. This leads to a 🌍 viewpoint overlooking the Baltic Sea horizon.

Heading south, you’ll enjoy a scenic 17-km walk along the seaside. 🌍 Follow the blue and yellow markers along 🌍 the coastline to reach the 🌍 Arholma garden of remembrance.

Now you enter a narrow gravel road leading into the small village of 🌍NOT EXISTING LISTING IMAGE Österhamn.

One kilometer after Österhamn you have a cross road either continue back to where the ferry arrived or take left to were the ferry arrives in the winter if there is a lot if ice. If you continue back you will pass 🌍 Arholma church and also a fixed sea mark built in 1768 on the island of Arholma 🌍 Arholma båk. When you pass near the restaurant 🌍 Arholma dansbana, you will start to see the location where the boat arrived and where you will take the boat back to Simpnäs or continue to Lidö.
