Background

The Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight is an easy-to-use digital reader. On your Nook, you can read books, papers, magazines, store and read files, and more. The Glowlight feature delivers an innovative lighting solution that allows users to control the amount of light illuminating their screen in low light settings. It also has a lightweight and portable design, along with long-lasting battery life. With Glowlight enabled, a Nook is designed to last over a month on one charge.

The Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight is similar to the original Nook Simple Touch, with the addition of the Glowlight for better lighting control, and a built-in anti-glare screen protector. The addition of the Glowlight also causes the expected battery life of the device to decrease from 2 months to 1 month when enabled.

Identification

The Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight has most of the same specs as the Nook Simple Touch, with a Glowlight light added to help with late-night reading and a grey frame around the edge of the case. Furthermore, accessing the “About Your NOOK” page of the device info section of the settings menu should provide you with the model number BRNV350.
