Background
The Apple Watch Series 10 is Apple's tenth-generation smartwatch. It was announced alongside an update to the Apple Watch Ultra 2 on September 9, 2024.
The Series 10 is available in GPS or GPS + cellular configurations. This series also introduces a titanium option, in addition to the aluminum option, which is only available in the GPS + cellular configuration.
It's available in two sizes, both of which are 1 mm larger than the Series 9, at 42 mm and 46 mm. Despite the larger size, all Series 10 watches weigh less than the comparable Series 9 watches.
The Series 10 runs on the Apple's S10 SiP. The LTPO3 OLED Always-on Retina Display is up to 40% brighter when viewed at an angle. The Series 10 also introduces two new sensors over the Series 9: A depth gauge for up to 6 m and a water temperature sensor. The Series 10 is also the first Apple Watch to allow for media playback on the device.
