Hausjärvi is a municipality in Tavastia Proper. The central town is Oitti. The other significant settlements are Hikiä and Ryttylä.

By car

Highway 54 between Riihimäki and Lahti passes through the municipality. Coming from Helsinki, you can take highway 3 to Riihimäki.

There are buses from Riihimäki and Hyvinkää.
