Youssef Abu Safia (8 December 1949 – 24 December 2020) was a Palestinian politician.

He served as the Minister of Environmental Affairs from 2012 to 2013 and also 1998 to 2002 under both Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas. He previously served as a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council from 1996 until his appointment as Minister in 1998.[1][2]

Death

Safia died of complications from COVID-19 on the 24 December 2020, at the age of 71.[3][4]
