Sureshjan (Persian: سورشجان, also Romanized as Sūreshjān, Sooresh Jan, and Sūrshjān)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Laran District of Shahrekord County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.[4] The city is populated by Lurs.[5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 11,124 in 2,604 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 11,407 people in 2,122 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 12,308 people in 3,595 households.[2]
