Stuart Byrne is an Irish former footballer who us last known to have played as a midfielder for St Pats.[1]

Playing career

During his eight-year League of Ireland career, Byrne was regarded as one of the most respected players in the league.[2] He started his career with Bohs.[3] After that, he won the league four times and played for clubs including Drogheda, Shelbourne, and Longford.[4] He left Drogheda after the 2008 season.[5]

Style of play

Byrne mainly operated as a midfielder and was known for his work ethic.[6]

Post-playing career

After retirement from professional football, Byrne released music single "The Game That We Love."
