Sembrando Libertad (lit. 'Sowing Freedom') is a 2022 Chilean absurdist mockumentary comedy film directed and produced by Benito Espinosa and Paloma Larraín in their directorial debut & written by Larraín.[1] Starring Francisco Ramírez, Daniela Núñez and Bárbara Becerra.[2]

Synopsis

A political group known as “Sembrando Libertad” becomes a strange cult when its leader, Maria Jetchu, a singer and holistic influencer, launches her campaign to be a constituent of Chile and loses. Alejandro, an independent journalist, infiltrates the group to reveal all the secrets of the sect and thus deny this supposed spiritual guide.[3]
