Leyja (styled LEYJA; Arabic: ليجا) is a ecotourism destination under construction in Saudi Arabia in NEOM, Tabuk Province. Leyja is one of the nine announced regions of NEOM and will be surrounded by 400 m (1,300 ft) tall mountains along the coastline of the Gulf of Aqaba.[1] The tourist destination aims to support Saudi Vision 2030 for a sustainable and strong tourism industry. According to the Saudi Press Agency, 95 per cent of Leyja's land area will be preserved for natural space.[2]
Leyja includes three Hotels which are the Adventure Hotel, designed by Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), Oasis Hotel, designed by Mario Cucinella Architects, and the Wellness Hotel, designed by Killa Design. The hotels will provide 120 boutique rooms and suites.[3]
