Elsbeth is an upcoming American police drama that is scheduled to premiere on February 29, 2024, on CBS.[1] It is a spinoff of The Good Wife, which ran from 2009 to 2016.
Premise
The series stars Carrie Preston as Elsbeth Tascioni, an autistic and astute but unconventional attorney who, after her successful career in Chicago, utilizes her singular point of view to make unique observations and corner brilliant criminals alongside the NYPD.

Production
Development
On January 31, 2023, it was announced that has ordered a pilot by CBS.[4] On May 9, 2023, it was given a straight-to-series order to the series, with CBS Studios joins the production of the series.[5] The first season has 10 episodes.[6]
Casting
Carrie Preston reprises her role as Elsbeth Tascioni. Also, Wendell Pierce joined as C.W. Wagner, and Carra Patterson joined in the role of Kaya Blanke.[7]
Release
Elsbeth is scheduled to premiere on February 29, 2024, on CBS. The show will be available to stream on Paramount+.[1]
