December 11, 2022

Best Film:
Return to Seoul

The 43rd Boston Society of Film Critics Awards, honoring the best in filmmaking in 2022, were given on December 11, 2022.[1][2][3][4][5]

Winners

Todd Field, Best Director winner
Colin Farrell, Best Actor winner
Michelle Yeoh, Best Actress winner
Ke Huy Quan, Best Supporting Actor winner
Kerry Condon, Best Supporting Actress winner

Notes

  1. Per Boston Society of Film Critics voting rules, if the winner for Best Film is a non-English language film, then the final vote is for Best English Language Film. The other instances of this were in 1985 — where Ran won Best Film while Best English Language Film was awarded to Prizzi's Honor — and in 2021, when Best Film went to Drive My Car and Best English Language Film was awarded to The Power of the Dog.
