The Albanian-Epirote War of 1385 was a short war waged between the Despotate of Arta, led by Gjin Bua Shpata and the Despotate of Epirus, led by Esau de' Buondelmonti. Gjin Bua Shpata laid siege to the Epirote capital Ioannina, but failed to capture the city, despite multiple attempts.[1] Both sides negotiated Peace and Gjin Bua Shpata and his forces withdrew, thus ending the siege.[1]
