Afmadow is a district in Lower Jubba of Somalia. The district capital is Afmadow.[1] It was first established as a town in 1896. the majority clans in Afmadow is the Marehan clan, who live in every part of the region north of the town and it's south west near the district of Kismayo, followed by the Gaalje'el and Cawramale
