Background

In May 2013, Bose released their first Bluetooth headphones: the Bose AE2w. Based on the company’s previous AE2 design, the AE2w offers convenient Bluetooth connectivity without sacrificing audio quality, allowing for a clear and comfortable listening experience. The AE2w Bluetooth module includes onboard audio controls and a multi-function button for seamless wireless control. The AE2w also features an adjustable headband and foam ear cushions for increased comfort.

Identification

The Bose AE2w Headphones feature an all-black design, with a slim and flexible headband with a soft top. The earpieces have soft oval padding. On the left piece, there is a headphone jack in which the blocky Bluetooth Module is plugged in. The module is identifiable by the volume buttons, Bluetooth and battery lights, and a power slider. Patent information can be found in the right earpiece and the serial number can be located in the left earpiece.
