Background Information

I started making content for iFixit around the start of October 2021. Initially, I joined to become more experienced in fixing Chromebooks (Specifically Acer's Chromebooks), MacBooks, and other computer hardware. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing people you could meet, and I have worked with these people to create the most in-depth guides and Wikis.

Hobbies

Outside my computer interests, I enjoy video games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Dying Light 1 and 2. I have also taken up Mead brewing, which I picked up in early 2020 during our area's lockdown, and have picked up beer brewing more recently (Which you can find some of my writing on here). I have also taken up 3D printing as an additional hobby for my repair endeavors. I've also had experience working with Kali Linux and Parrot OS, both subjects I have written about extensively for iFixit.

Favorite Repair Project

To date, one of my favorite repair projects was refurbishing a 2019 MacBook Pro. I lucked out quite a bit with that one, as the logic board was still good, and the only parts I needed to replace were the battery and the screen. That project was probably my most challenging since the whole thing took me about four hours, and at that point, I needed to use the heating pad to soften the adhesive.

Current Personal Project

As of the end of July 2024, I have been working on documenting all 600 Linux distributions that have been created since the initial creation of Linux in 1991.

Guides/Wikis I have worked on

Since starting in 2021, I have created 4 device teardowns and 49 guides, assisted in translating 20 guides, and created 257 admin-approved Wikis. The list of most of my guides and wikis is below.
