Ulricehamn

Ulricehamn is a town of 11,000 people (2021) in Västergötland in southwestern Sweden. Ulricehamn municipality (Ulricehamns kommun) has 25,000 inhabitants (2022).

Ulricehamn is the spring of the Ätran river.

The town is 36 km east of Borås and 49 km west of Jönköping. At Ulricehamn there is a motorway that is part of National Highway 40.

• 🌍 Ekehagens forntidsby. A rebuilt village with archaeological sites from the stone, bronze and iron age. 

• 🌍 Ulricehamn Skicenter (just north of the city). An alpine facility with seven lifts and six descents of varying degrees of difficulty. (updated Nov 2022)
