Oroquieta
Oroquieta is the capital of the province of Misamis Occidental, in Northern Mindanao.
Understand
Oroquieta originated as the settlement of Layawan, named after a river passing south of it, and gained its present name when it was renamed after a village in Navarre, Spain.
