Lund City Wall
Like other medieval cities, Lund, Sweden, was once surrounded by a city wall, stadsvall, which was mostly an earth embankment with a moat. While only a short section of the wall itself is preserved, the hexagonal perimeter of the old town is outlined by streets, making up a comfortable 4.5 km (2.8 mi) walk through the city's rich history.
