Long Flat
Long Flat is a small village of 112 along the Oxley Highway in the Mid-North Coast. It doesn't feature much of note, but it is an important stopover town and the only one between Wauchope and Walcha.

By car
The only (sealed) road in and out of Long Flat is the B56 Oxley Highway. It is 30 km (19 mi) west of Wauchope, 48 km (30 mi) west of Port Macquarie and 40 km (25 mi) west of the M1 Pacific Motorway at Thrumster.
From the west, Long Flat is 134 km (83 mi) east of Walcha and 40 km (25 mi) east of Cottan-Bimbang National Park.
By coach (bus)
Long Flat is along the Oxley Highway coach route between Tamworth and Port Macquarie, with two coaches in each direction each week.
The westbound coach follows the following timetable.
