  • 🌍 Limoges – Bellegarde Airport (Aéroport de Limoges – Bellegarde), 81 Av. de l'Aéroport (7 km west of Limoges, bus #26 runs between city centre and the airport a couple of times a day, however, not at convenient times for most flights. A taxi will run you €28 to the centre of Limoges (€38 on Sunday). You can take buses #17 and #33 from Le Breuil which is about 2km walk away, down a busy road with no pavement to the main bus terminal (Place Winston Churchill), operating to similar sparse timetables to the airport bus.).

There is an adequate local and regional bus system for longer trips, operated by STCL. Walking is the obvious choice within the city centre.

Mo-Sa 10:00-12:30, 14:00-17:30. is a remarkable industrial heritage site, renowned for its role in the city’s porcelain production. Built in 1900, this large, round kiln—classified as a historic monument—is the last of its kind in France and once fired up cooks up to 15,000 porcelain pieces at a time. Its innovative “flamme renversée” (reversed flame) design reflects the technical advances of the era.
