Euabalong and Euabalong West

Euabalong is a spacious rural locality of 125 (2021) in Cobar Shire, part of the larger Outback New South Wales. Inside it is Euabalong West (pop. 66), an enclave containing the only thing of note the town has, the railway station โ€“ a stop along the Broken Hill Xplorer.

๐ŸŒ Euabalong West Station receives 1 train a week from Sydney and Broken Hill along the Broken Hill Xplorer. The train from Sydney Central departs at 6:19AM on Mondays and arrives at 2:46PM; train from Broken Hill leaves at 8:15AM (NSW time; 7:45AM CST) and arrives at 12:52PM.

By coach (bus)

The Wagga Waggaโ€“Condobolin Town coach (719/720) runs to both Euabalong and Euabalong West from Wagga Wagga via the Goldfields Way (B85) and Lake Cargelligo, and Condobolin from the east. From Wagga, the coach leaves the station at 2:45PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving at Euabalong at 6:25PM and Euabalong West at 6:30PM. The coach from Condobolin operates on the same days, but leaves Condobolin at 7:25AM, arrives at Euabalong West at 8:30AM and Euabalong at 8:35AM.

By bus

School buses from Lake Cargelligo operate on school days. It's not a form of transport you'd want to rely on, however.
