Apúlia (Portugal)
Apúlia is a town in Portugal's Minho region on the Portuguese Coastal Way trail of the Camino de Santiago. The town has 4,200 inhabitants (2011).

Get in
The nearest airport is in Porto. From the airport take the metro, change in Verdes and go to Povoa de Varzim. From there take a bus to Apúlia.
Other airports around are in Vigo, Lisbon and Santiago de Compostela.
If you want to go to the beach of Apúlia from a town around, take care to take the right bus line. Some buses only go along the country road 2 km away from the beach.

- Panificadora Sul Do Cavado, Av. da Praia 45. Offered is a menu del dia at lunch time and in the evening.
- Os Mudos, R. do Cruzeiro. Take away restaurant, which offers a menu of the day for €8 altogether and charcoal grilled dishes.

- Pilgrims can sleep in the Albergue Santiago da Costa.
- The hostel "Home of Pilgrims de Apúlia" can be booked for more than one night.
- Pilgrims can also stay in "Bellaë Holiday" for 15€ one night (March 2025). Availability should be checked beforehand and it cannot be used by pilgrims in July and August.
- Apulia Praia Hotel, Av. da Praia 45, ☏ +351 253 989 290. Has a generous breakfast buffet though the lack of parking can be an issue.
