town and civil parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, UK

Westerham is a town of 4,500 people (2011) in Kent. The River Darent, which flows through the town, used to power three watermills.

It is recorded as early as the 9th century, and was mentioned in the Domesday Book in a Norman form, Oistreham.

This preserved Georgian townhouse and 18th-century garden is a National Trust property. It was the childhood home of General James Wolfe, victor of the Battle of Quebec (1759).
