Get in

The closest train station is in Ilanz, with trains from Chur. From there a postal bus runs hourly to Vals (36 minutes).

Get around

Vals is manageable on foot. During the winter season, there is a free shuttle bus running through the village.

See

Zervreilasee is a damned lake up the valley its glacial blue surface reflects the surrounding mountain scape, taking in the impressive Zervreillahorn.

  • 🌍 Vals 3000 (25 km, 6 lifts), ☏ +41 81 935 15 50. A rather small ski resort made up of mostly t-bar lifts. Day pass Fr. 49/25 for skiing and Fr. 21 for pedestrians. (updated Feb 2017)
