Triunfo is a city in Pernambuco Interior, Brazil.

Triunfo is a green oasis in the otherwise arid Sertao region in Northeastern Brazil. Situated between mountains and at a lakefront, the city has a cool climate. The maximum temperature is 28ºC in the summer and 5ºC on winter evenings.

Triunfo is 449 km away from Recife.

By air

Fly to Recife Gilberto Freyre - Guararapes International Airport. A closer, but much smaller airport, can be found in Caruaru.

By car

From Recife, take interstate highway BR-232 until the city of Serra Talhada. Then take state highway PE-365 all the way to Triunfo.

By bus

From Recife's Bus Terminal (TIP), Auto-Viação Progresso operates the line Recife-Triunfo (tel.: +55 81 3452-3079).

  • Cine-Teatro Guarany. (1919), beautiful theater from the early 1900s. Set by the lake. It is the town's unofficial trademark.
