Thái Nguyên

Thái Nguyên is in Northern Vietnam.

Thái Nguyên is Vietnam's 9th largest city, famous for Tan Cuong tea. It was also the site of Vietnam's first steel mill and is nowadays the home of a large university and distinctive "Coffee Street" (Hoàng Hoa Thám) where you can pretty much find a coffee shop everywhere you turn.

Thái Nguyên is about 80 km north of Hanoi.

• 🌍 Nui Coc Lake, Tan Thai Commune Dai Tu District (about 18 km west of Thai Nguyen). a lake featuring an amusement park on a hill, water park, boat rides, extreme sport activities, sunsets behind tea plantations, and musical water performances.
