Tamura

city in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan


Tamura (田村市 Tamura-shi) is a city in the Fukushima Prefecture, in Honshu, Japan. Tamura was founded in 2005 as a result of a merger of several smaller towns and villages. Funehiki, Miyakoji, Ogoe, Takine, and Tokiwa all now exist as Tamura city. Tamura's sister city is Mansfield, Ohio.
