  • 🌍 Matara archeological site. Matara was a major city during the Dʿmt (𐩵𐩲𐩣𐩩) and Aksumite kingdoms. Among the ruins is the Hawulti obelisk, the oldest (4th century AD) example of Ge'ez script, also known as Old Ethiopic. (updated Oct 2020)
