Sapulpa is in the Green Country region of Oklahoma, a conservative little town that sounds like Sebulba from Star Wars if you say it fast.

  • 🌍 Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum, 13 Sahoma Lake Rd, ☏ +1 918 216-1171. Nostalgic museum with lots of classic cars and old-time gasoline pumps. (updated Oct 2021)

  • 🌍 Pretty Water Lake (take S Sahoma Lake Rd north to destination). A pretty lake with a 1 mile walking trail. (updated Oct 2021)

  • Frankoma Pottery Factory Outlet, Dewey Street Market, 209 East Dewey Ave, ☏ +1 918 227-4508. Once Oklahoma's most famous pottery company and one of a few in the country with its own clay on the site of the Kiln, Frankoma closed its 9549 Frankoma Road factory in 2010. There is a strong aftermarket for the pieces as collectibles. An attempt was made in 2012 to revive the brand on a very limited scale; products were available locally or ordered on-line from Houston TX.
