Saint-Hyacinthe is the agri-food capital of Quebec. This city of 57,000 people (2021) is in Les Maskoutains region in Eastern Montérégie, Quebec. Saint-Hyacinthe is also a gourmet, attractive, festive, sporty and cultural city. The town offers special recreational activities: hiking, biking, and water activities on the Yamaska River. It also holds major events: annual agricultural exhibition, shows, festivals, celebrations, agri-food activities, and sports tournaments.
