Prudentólis is a city in the state of Central Paraná in South Brazil. This city was founded by immigrants from western Ukraine and 70% of its citizens claim Ukrainian heritage.

  • Millenial Museum. celebrating 1,000 years of Ukrainian Christianity and the Ukrainian diaspora in the area.

  • There are also over 100 waterfalls in the area. Several waterfalls are more than one hundred meters high.

  • There are trails on which you can discover the walls of the mountains between the second and third plateaus of Paraná

  • The city has more than 100 religious temples linked to Christianity, of Roman and Byzantine rite traditions, of which the most important is the Church of São Josafat

  • The Ukrainian colonization provides Prudentópolis with several festive activities typical of the Ukrainian culture, with emphasis on the Vesselka Folk Group and the Ukrainian Night.

  • The celebration of the day of one of the patron saints of the municipality, São João Batista, is one of the biggest June festivals in Paraná. Artistic and pyrotechnic presentations attract many tourists to the region.
