Prakashe is a village in North Maharashtra in India. Prakashe is on the bank of Tapi river has been known as center of pilgrimage since 17th century. Excavations by the Archaeological survey of India at this place have disclosed details of the Chalcolithic Period of the history of Maharashtra.
