There are both KSRTC and Private Bus service to Pattambi from neighbouring cities of Thrissur and Palakkad.

    • Bus - Pattambi is well networked by public bus transport. The state runs KSRTC and many private operators operate bus services.
    • Autorickshaw - This is cheap way of transportation between attractions. Rickshaw drivers are generally very polite unlike big cities of India. However, if you are a foreigner trying to get around by yourself, agree on fare before boarding.
    • Taxi - Local taxis are also available at cheap rates. You will have to bargain.

  • Visit the Regional Agricultural Research Station - one of the finest such stations in India, which educates visitors about various crop varieties and harvesting techniques.
  • Pattambi Nercha (പട്ടാമ്പി നേർച്ച). February and March. A unique and terrific festival, which is celebrated by all residents of Pattambi harmoniously. It is held in memory of Aloor Valiya Pookunjikoya Thangal, a Muslim saint of Malabar. A grand procession of nearly 100 caparisoned tuskers, colourful floats, traditional orchestras such as 'panchavadyam' and 'thayambaka' and folk art forms are the highlights of the festival.
