North Central Nigeria

North Central Nigeria is a region of Nigeria. It is the larger chunk of the Nigerian Middle Belt, and is composed of the following states: Benue State, Kogi State, Kwara State, Nasarawa State, Niger State, Plateau State, and the Federal Capital Territory.

Plateau State

• 🌍 Jos — Capital of Plateau state. Jos is infamous for its extraordinarily cold weather. For this reason, it was said to be a favorite haunt for the British during the colonial period. With cheap and abundant food, and fine weather, life in this city is however marred by periodic violent clashes, a result of simmering ethnic and religious tensions.
