Malham is a village in North Yorkshire known for Malham Cove, a large curved limestone cliff. There is no church in the village but at Kirkby Malham to the south.
Infrequent buses from Settle and Skipton, twice a day on weekdays run by The Little Red Bus and Pennine Buses.
Only reached by unclassified roads; best to use a map if coming by car.
Malham is on the Pennine Way between Thornton-in-Craven and Horton-in-Ribblesdale.
It's easy enough to walk between all the places listed below.

🌍 Gordale Scar (From Hawthorns Ln walk through Gordale Scar Campsite). this deep limestone gully has a double waterfall at the end with a jacuzzi size plunge pool. free.
🌍 Janet's Foss (best entered following the footpath along Gordale Beck from the south). a small but very pretty waterfall with a swimming pool sized plunge pool. free.

All the roads from Malham are very scenic. Malham is on the Pennine Way and the typical next stop northbound is Horton-in-Ribblesdale (14½ miles). Southbound, one might aim for Gargrave (6 miles), Thorton-in-Craven (10½ miles) or Earby (12 miles).
