Lindsborg

Lindsborg is a city of 3,300 people (2020) in Kansas, in the United States of America. Settled by Swedish immigrants in the 1880s, Lindsborg is known as Little Sweden, USA.

K-4 highway passes through Lindsborg.

Bus service is provided daily towards Wichita and Salina by BeeLine Express (subcontractor of Greyhound Lines).

McPherson County Old Mill Museum

• 🌍 McPherson County Old Mill Museum (Smoky Valley Roller Mill), Mill Street. Daily. An historic mill and museum. The museum grounds include the 1904 World's Fair Swedish Pavilion and other buildings with local history exhibits, especially pertaining to Swedish-American history. (updated Oct 2021)

Swedish Pavilion

• 🌍 Swedish Pavilion. The Pavilion was built as an international exposition building for the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. After the fair, the Pavilion was moved to Lindsborg, and is used for cultural heritage events at the museum. (updated Oct 2021)
• 🌍 Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery, 410 North First Street. Tu-Su 1-4PM, closed on holidays. The gallery is dedicated to Birger Sandzén, who was a Swedish-born painter. (updated Oct 2021)

• Svensk Hyllningsfest (Swedish Honoring Festival). A festival of Swedish culture, featuring music, a parade and a Smörgåsbord. The Smörgåsbord tickets sell out early. Every two years in early October in odd-numbered years, i.e., 2023, 2025.... (updated Oct 2021)
