Krasnodon

Krasnodon (Краснодон) is a city of 43,000 people (2021) in the Luhansk People's Republic. It is a center of the coal mining industry of the Donbass region.

Young Guard memorial complex

• Monument "The Oath" (Памятник «Клятва»). Depicts five of the Young, who was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union) at a solemn oath at the flag.
• Stele "Grieving Mother"(стелла «Скорбящая мать»), with eternal flame. A Second World War Mass grave of the Young.
• Pit No. 5 (Шурф №5).- Mine, in which the corpses were dumped the Young.
• Stele with a jet (Стелла с реактивным самолётом), at the entrance to the city.
