Ko Bon

Ko Bon (เกาะบอน) is a small island SSE of Ko Phuket. It lies 1-2 km off-shore.

It is accessible in just 10 minutes by boat from Rawai or Laem Ka. You can also charter a longtail from most of Phuket's main beaches.

  • Bon Island Restaurant (A few kilometres off Rawai. During monsoon season, you must take a longtail or speedboat from Rawai or Chalong Bay as boats from other beaches are often not running. From Oct-Apr it is possible to reach Bon Island by boat from almost any of Phuket's beaches), ☏ +66 81 8921156, . Run by an English woman named Dawn. Serve a la carte or set 4 person meals . Thai and Western food. Fish dishes, ~350 baht (Apr 2011). 

Drink

Stay for cocktails in the late afternoon and watch the sun go down at Laem Phrom Thep.

Sleep

There was a luxurious honeymoon suite, operated by the Evason Resort & Spa in Rawai, on the island. But the Evanson has closed and there is now no accommodation on the island (Nov 2013).
