Iznájar

Iznájar is a traditional Spanish "pueblo blanco" (or white village) in the province of Córdoba. Its main business of this town of 4300 people (2019) is the cultivation of olives, although tourism is an increasingly important source of income for the town. Visitors are drawn to the pleasant beaches in summer and to the range of fiestas throughout the year.

Iznájar is set on a huge rock with amazing views of the Embalse De Iznajar. This lake is the largest lake in Andalucia and has its own beach. Surrounding hamlets include La Celada, El Higueral and Solerche.
