Humpolec is in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. It lies between Prague and Brno.
The town has 13,000 inhabitants and the elevation is 530 m.
From Prague it's the best to take a bus. The app Idos shows you regional buses. And the app Busradar shows intercity buses. Prices are about 95 - 140 Kč (May 2022). There are only 1-stop train connections for about 223-249 Kč (May 2022).
From Brno there is one intercity bus during weekdays and 1-stop train connections. (updated May 2022).
Somewhat out of the city centre.
It's in the city centre. Flixbus, the bus line 570 from Prague Roztyly and certain intercity buses stop here. There seems to be another bus which other bus companies serve instead of the Poliklinika stop.
The town can be easily explored on foot.
The town has ATMs of the Komerční banka (KB), which do not charge a fee on foreign credit cards for withdrawing money.
