Hellvik

Hellvik is a village of 900 people (2021) in Hå municipality in Rogaland in Norway, north of Egersund and south of Sirevåg. The village has a good natural harbour and is a popular location for holiday houses.

Hellvik is a train station on Jærbanen between Stavanger and Egersund. Only local trains stop at Hellvik (not express nor regional ones).

  • 🌍 Sirevåg (5 km north of Hellvik, by local train on the Jærbanen line). Sirevåg has some small, hidden away beaches. Fishing from the pier by the shrimp plant is popular. You can buy crabs and shrimp in Sirevåg from the fisher folk. (updated Nov 2021)
