Goose Green

Goose Green is a small settlement on the island of East Falkland in the Falkland Islands. The settlement became the centre of the Falkland Islands Company's sheep holdings in 1922, and was the site of the Battle of Goose Green during the Falklands War.

Goose Green is accessible both by road and by FIGAS flight.

From Stanley, the settlement is an 80-minute drive via Darwin Rd – it is approximately 95 km (59 mi) but with very little in between.
