By Plane

Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) is the closest airport to Denmark. It is located about 20 miles north of Denmark, in the city of Green Bay. It has direct service to five airports in the United States: O'Hare International Airport (ORD), Cleveland International Airport (CLE), Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).

Interstate 43 passes Denmark on the western edge of town. It leads to Manitowoc, Sheboygan, and Milwaukee to the south, and Green Bay to the north.

  • Devil's River State Trail. A 14.24 mile state recreational trail that begins in Denmark, and travels south to Rockwood, Wisconsin. Walking and bicycling are the most common activities in the summer, and cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling are permitted in winter. (updated Feb 2015)
