Darlington Point is small enough to walk around on foot. For attractions located out of town, such as Altina, a vehicle will be required.

  • Murrumbidgee Valley Regional Park. A small regional park managed by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services, protecting the northern banks of the Murrumbidgee River. There aren't many tourist facilities, but they do provide some laidback picnic spots by the river. (updated Apr 2023)

Telstra and Optus work reliably throughout the town. Vodafone service comes from a tower a few kilometers south-west on the highway and can get patchy indoors.
