Rayalaseema

The Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh in India consists of the districts of Annamayya, Anantapur, Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nandyal, and Sri Sathya Sai.

• 🌍 Chittoor — close to the revered temple of lord Balaji and Horsley Hills

• 🌍 Kalikiri — several temples and wonderful area for trekking
• 🌍 Kanipakam — tamous temple of Lord Vinayaka
• 🌍 Kurnool — the site of Konda Reddy Fort
• 🌍 Mahanandi — known as 'Majestic Cow', this village is famous for its temple's freshwater pools
• 🌍 Mantralayam — a temple of Sri Raghavendra Swamy
• 🌍 Nandyal — a town surrounded by nine temples
• 🌍 Puttaparthi — place of Satya Saibaba (Shantinilayam)
• 🌍 Srisailam — home to one of the Jyotirlinga temples

Belum Caves

• 🌍 Belum Caves — a network of natural underground caves in shale/slate rock partly explored
• 🌍 Horsley Hills — a hill station and summer residence of British governors

The major language is Telugu. Some people can understand Hindi and English. At Ahobilam, people can understand and talk in Kannada/Tamil.

Tirupati Airport (TIR)

Mostly rice, pappu, and also famous for ugani bajji in Kurnool.

Be careful while travelling at night. Many roads in this area are isolated and dark during the night.
