Chascomús is in the Buenos Aires province.
Chascomús is a beautiful old city in Argentina. It´s located in the province of Buenos Aires, on the banks of the lagoon of the same name.
The weather there is warm all year round. Its average temperature is between 12 º and 25º.
You can get to Chascomús by train, bus, car and also by helicopter or small airplane, because it has a medium-size aircraft airport. By car, Chascomús is 123 km on route 2 from Buenos Aires.
There are a lot of places to see and go: The "Capilla de los negros", where the Africans did their worship; "The Pampeano Museum", where the field is the protagonist; the house of former president Raúl Alfonsín; the Fishermen men’s club; the Golf Club. But the most important attraction is the lagoon! You can go around it on foot or by bike.
In Chascomús you can do nautical sports: rafting, sailing, jet-skiing, windsurfing. Also, you can play golf, paddle, football, etc. At night you can go to cafés or pubs and you can go dancing to a club.
Buenos Aires Skydive are based at Chascomús airfield north side of town.
For the presents you can buy chocolates, smoked meat, handcrafted goods and craft beer.
To eat, there are good restaurants and grills. The most popular meal is fish, certainly!
