St-Pierre de Céret church and Massif des Albères
Céret is a small town with a population of approximately 7,600 inhabitants, marking the entrance to Vallespir, a region of foothills in the Pyrenees and the southernmost valley on the mainland of France. It also serves as a sub-prefecture of the Pyrénées-Orientales department. The town shares its border with Spain, adjacent to the Massif des Salines.
