Boronia

Boronia is a suburb in the Yarra Valley, 29 km east of Melbourne CBD.
It is in the City of Knox. At the 2016 census, its population was 22,195.
The railway line was built in 1889 passing through Boronia without providing a station. The nearest station was Bayswater until 1920, when a train station was opened in Boronia attracting new residents and tourists, along with the post office also opened in 1920.
