Bald Rock National Park

Bald Rock National Park is a national park in the Eastern New England region of New South Wales.

From Tenterfield, take Mount Lindesay Road up until you arrive at the park.

There is a fee of $8 a day.

Views from the top of the rock

• Bald Rock. A large granite outcrop rising about 200 metres above the surrounding landscape. Measuring about 750 metres long and 500 metres wide, this is the largest granite monolith in Australia. (updated Jan 2022)
  • 🌍 Bald Rock Trig lookout. Once you've climbed the Bald Rock Summit walking track, the views overlooking both the Queensland and New South Wales are a hard-earned reward. (updated Jan 2022)

• Bald Rock Summit walking track is a 3.2 kilometre loop trail that takes about 1-2 hours to do. As the name suggests, it passes thru the peak of the rock.

There are no shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs et cetera in the park.

• Head down south to Tenterfield
